Itinierary
Day 01: Arrival at Guwahati
On arrival at Guwahati, our representative will receive you and assist you to check in the hotel. Later we will proceed to visit KAMAKHYA TEMPLE on the Nilachal hills. It is suggested that a special entry pass for the temple is obtained prior to the visit to avoid waiting time. After Kamakhya Darshan you can also visit UMANANDA TEMPLE on the PEACOCK Island known as the smallest river island on earth.later we will visit the Lalit Kala Bhawan. Night stay in Guwahati. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Day 2. Guwahati-Shillong
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Shillong and escorted you to check in to the Hotel. After little relax we will go You can have a midway halt at Umiam Lake. On reaching Shillong visit Wards Lake and Lady Hydari Park. If time permits, visit the Don Bosco Museum. Enjoy the pleasant evening in Shillong. Night stay in Shillong.
Day 3. Shillong-Dawki-Mawlynnong-Cherrapunjee
After early morning breakfast drive to Mawlynnong (Asia’s cleanest village). On reaching Mawlynnong you can visit the Riwai village, Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge. Post lunch (It is suggested to carry packed lunch) drive to Dawki, the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from Bangladesh side). Main attraction is the Umngot River with crystal clear water. You can enjoy a long boat ride there. Later I drove to Shillong. Night stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 4. Cherrapunjee-Guwahati
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee – this is a very scenic drive enabling one to see the cloud covered hills and the deep gorges. At Cherrapunjee visit the limestone caves and the waterfalls Seven Sister Wakaba Falls & Kynrem Falls . You can visit Arwah Caves, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Nohsngithiang Falls, Eco Park, and Thangkharang Park. Night, Evening back to Guwahati .
Day 5. Guwahati Airport Drop
After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to Airport
